Our Test Procedure

The brand, Krishi Pipes is a Registered Trade Mark registered with the Registrar of Trade Marks under Class 09 (Classification Code for PVC Conduits for Electrical Installations)under class 17 Trade Mark # 1859535.

HotAir Oven Test

Hot Air Circulating Oven test is used for multipurpose tests for plastic material such as shrinkage, reversion, migration, warpage, moisture content and lateral E.S.C.R. Test at different temperature. Triple walled construction and forced air circulation provide uniform temperature throughout the chamber.

Features
  • Temperature range: Ambient to 199.9°C.
  • Temperature controlled by ‘Digital PID’ based temperature controller.
  • Choice of M.S., Aluminum or SS Interior body.

Carbon Black Dispersion Test

Carbon Black Dispersion testing is used to find out the dispersion of additives e.g. pigments, fillers in plastics. In plastic material, pigment and fillers play a very important role for matching the uniform colours as well as resistance against UV light. This testing is also useful for determination of surface defects, voids, bubbles, filler distribution and other structural investigation.

Hydro static Pressure Test

The general objective of the hydrostatic test of polyethylene pipes: Ensuring the correctness of the work, the suitability of the pipe, the valves, the accessories and the size of the equipment used, and thus the necessary pressure to withstand all parts of the line, against the design pressure and non-leakage.

Oxigen Induction Test

The determination of the oxidation induction test is used to assess the stability of products such as the high density polyethylene pipes. To maintain quality, each batch of pipe is tested before (as virgin material) and after the production of pipes (processed material). Furthermore, OIT is used to study the effect of the various additives (inhibitors and stabilizers), making it an important tool for research and development projects.

MFI Test

MFI is an important parameter to determine the property of the polymer to flow at melting point under the application of the standard weight. This MFI is an important parameter, as it provides the necessary data of mass flow rate of the polymer per 10 min.

Carbon Black Content Test

Carbon black in hdpe pipe is the best and most economic UV stabilizer. Appropriate quality of Carbon black, properly dispersed and distributed in polyethylene pipes by compounding, can prevent UV degradation of pipes for several years, despite storage in the open sunlight.
